Wood Energy Technology Transfer Inc. (WETT Inc.) is a non-profit training and education association managed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by holders of valid WETT certificates. Through its administrative designate, WETT Inc. functions as the national registrar of the WETT program. Through professional training and public education, WETT Inc. promotes the safe and effective use of wood-burning systems in Canada.
TECA provides British Columbia’s residential heating, ventilating + cooling industry with superior training programs and a collective voice in local and provincial issues affecting our trade. Through the support of our members throughout BC – contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, utilities, educators, consultants and regulators – and our volunteer board, TECA works to ensure safe, efficient and comfortable HVAC systems are installed in BC homes.
TECA’s respected Quality First™ training programs are developed by the industry, for the industry, setting minimum standards for the residential and light commercial heating, ventilating and cooling trade in British Columbia. Our courses provide contractors the information they need to install equipment that operates safely and comfortably at rated efficiencies.
The Canadian GeoExchange™ Coalition acts as the industry catalyst to unite private and public sector stakeholders, and to expand the market for GeoExchange™ technology in Canada. As the nexus of information, training, certification, industry standards and public awareness, our mandate is to work with stakeholders to build the necessary infrastructure to foster the growth of the Canadian GeoExchange™ industry.es.
